Review: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has finally fulfilled his Eid 2021 promise. The film has been released in a digital pay-per-view format in India and has got a theatrical release in many countries abroad.

Set entirely in Mumbai, ‘Radhe Your Most Wanted Bhai’ is an actioner that doesn’t try to be anything else! For such films, the battle is always about striking a balance between falling for the clichés and offering some originality, whilst keeping the entertainment quotient high.

The film begins with a high-impact scene where the bad guy is bashing up another crook, and a series of confrontation scenes between Salman Khan and Randeep Hooda that follow is an absolute treat. However, there are many other villains in this pack of baddies, who just end up being loud and over-the-top.

Nevertheless, the face-off between the good and the evil and some moves and grooves will make Salman Khan fans cheer him on, yet again. In fact, Salman Khan's presence in the film is enough for his fans to go gaga over ‘Radhe Your Most Wanted Bhai's’ release. Therefore, it would not be wrong to say that Prabhu Deva has relied heavily on his star-power, style, and swag, to drive the narrative.

Even Randeep Hooda makes every minute on screen count. He is slick and savage in his act!

Salman Khan and Disha Patani are seen together once again after Ali Abbas Zafar's Bharat. She just adds plenty of glamour to the scenes, and her track is literally counter-productive to the story. The naivety of her character gives her little scope to perform and also dilutes the gravity of the subject at hand.

The background score by Sanchit Balhara and Ankit Balhara is loud but adds to the impact where needed. The title track by Sajid-Wajid and Dil De Diya featuring Jacqueline Fernandez by Himesh Reshammiya stands out. Even the action by South Korean stunt director Myeong-haeng Heo and famous action director Anbariv is raw, brutal, and stylish. They have incorporated martial arts, sword fighting, and fight sequences with props in the film, but with quite a lot of bloodshed. It certainly looks quite impressive and larger than life.

But beyond the action, we are left with filmy dialogues. The attempt to infuse comedy through dialogues and situations, in this hardcore action film, didn’t work well.

Overall, ‘Radhe Your Most Wanted Bhai’ has the elements that merit a big-screen experience, but given the current COVID crisis in India, all ‘Bhai’ fans would have to watch this EID release on a small screen. Also, if you are an action fan, there are enough shots to keep you invested!
