Deep is a handsome young boy. He is tall and has a sense of personality but what sets him apart is his awkwardness and inability to converse with fellow human beings. He is not comfortable dealing with humans but he is very eloquent when books are under consideration. He loves the world of books and always finds solitude within the pages filled with words.

His life takes an unusual turn when he gets a chance to do an internship in Hong Kong. After arriving in Hong Kong, Deep meets Ahana, a beautiful girl who is blind. Deep falls in love with her and then begins a spectacular journey of dreams, hopes and promises. Both explore the world within Hong Kong together. Things look good until Ahana’s ex-boyfriend comes in the picture. Will their love survive this test of destiny?

Review:

This book serves you gripping tale of finding love, an aim in life and a passion, this is a kind of book that will touch your heart, hook you and entertain you.

The plot is well executed with some witty dialogues and laughter filled scenes. The author shows his skill when he changes his tone very swiftly from the light to the serious part in the book. The characters are real, practical people and you will be able to connect with them. One can feel the hopelessness of Ahana, who is blind and angry with the people with eyes who treat her differently, empathize with Ahana's father who loves his daughter but feels helpless when he tries his best to make his daughter happy but often without success.

For first 104 pages protagonist is Deep. Then Ahana takes over and leads the story as ‘I’ until Page-156. Then narration goes to third-person and then back to Deep.

There are some really good, noteworthy lines in the book:

“Being ‘bent’ is kind of like being victorious, it’s powerful and liberating, and yet it’s lonely, like it’s only you who can feel the utter joy of flying, but you’re flying alone even in a crowd and there are no cotton clouds.”

“If you were to just feel your food without being able to see it, you wouldn’t eat half the things you like.”

Some books can’t be described in terms of the content and plot they carry in them. They have a lot more in them than we as readers think of.
