What are the next Bollywood plans of International Icon Priyanka Chopra
Currently, there is this circulatory story around that Priyanka Chopra Jonas is on the verge of calling it off to Bollywood to pursue her career in the US. Besides, there are also speculations that she is all set to focus on her family life with husband Nick Jonas.
By contrast, there are also rumors that reveal — Priyanka is in talks with several filmmakers in Bollywood for possible high profile projects that could uplift her image. According to several sources, “She is still preferring for negotiations with several prominent filmmakers, including Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Siddharth Roy Kapur, Aditya Chopra, Karan Johar, and Vishal Bhardwaj. However, till yet, she holds no intentions to give up her career in Hindi cinema. According to her, as she quotes, she chooses her films according to the magic she feels in it and that’s why she would prefer to work in both the countries for as long as people want to watch her.”
To put it differently, Priyanka Chopra is now a global icon and recently she appeared on a popular talk show where she spilled the beans on a lot of topics. But then, with the casual offer acceptance, there are assumptions of unusual global business risk in hopes of obtaining commensurate gain with choosing non-impactful characters in Bollywood.
The complication, if any, is with her impressive image. “It is not possible for Priyanka to consider any Bollywood assignment just because it has a big hero’s or a big director's name attached to it. This was particularly the reason for choosing a relatively small film like The Sky Is Pink, rather than a large production like Bharat with Salman Khan. Lately, the actress has confessed that she misses singing and dancing the most, but she can be seen dancing and singing in Hollywood as well.
However, apart from her acting career, there are several other possibilities as to what Priyanka can do next in Bollywood, one of them is being producing her next Indian film herself. Not to forget, the actress confessed a lot more times that it is not just singing and dancing, but there is one more thing she misses most about Bollywood — the insanity which happens in Hindi films.
Consequently, there are strong possibilities for Priyanka starring in her next independent production. As a part of the plan, she already has her own production house in Mumbai under the vigilance of her mother. This allows her to have the flexibility in making and choosing the role and film of her choice happen.
Meanwhile, for projects in Hollywood, the actress is having her acting skills applied on a biopic on Ma Anand Sheela, who partnered with spiritual guru Acharya Rajneesh. Apparently, the movie is directed by Barry Levinson.
