Grand Master Akshar gives a call for ‘Yoga for obesity-free world’

New Delhi: In a bid to counter the spread of a disease that impacts people across different age groups, Grand Master Akshar has given a call for ‘Yoga for obesity-free world’ through an innovative weight loss drive. The Grand Master has announced that he will hold a number of programmes to provide a holistic approach to lose weight. The first leg of the event was held on August 7 through different online as well as offline modes. The unique programme is focused more on well-being and overall health, combining the power of yoga.

As part of the drive, Grand Master shares unique formulae to enable weight loss, personalized solution in accordance with different age groups and customized diet charts. He further shares tips on special Pranayama, Asanas, flows and meditation techniques. The idea is to enjoy healthy weight while also building strength for both mind and body. While yoga leads to effective weight loss, the aim is to enable holistic transformation.

The drive is being conducted through online modes such as webinars, Facebook live and Zoom app sessions. Besides, several pre-recorded video recordings will also be made available for all practitioners, starting August 10. Studio Classes are also being organised with adherence to all social distancing norms.

Referring to the drive, the Grand Master said, “It is the need of the hour to remain healthy, and we all must aim at holistic wellness. The drive intends to guide people in channelizing their efforts against obesity in the right direction.”

Grand Master Akshar, who has millions of followers globally, has actively been involved in spreading awareness about yoga. He has also written a number of books on yoga and its benefits in different stages like beginners, advanced and professional.
