Actress & Politician Sonali Phogat Made An Impactful & Surprising Entry In Bigg Boss House

An actress and politician by profession, Sonali is an avid believer in ‘support the right and oppose the wrong’. She started her career as an anchor on Doordarshan followed by aggressive print advertisements, television commercials and short films.
Blame her appealing looks, the upfront ambitious actress paved her way to films and television. She triumphed upon the hearts of millions with her acting abilities in films like- P Se Pyaar F Se Faraar opposite Jimmy Shergill, Chhoriyan Chhoron Se Kam Nahi Hoti alongside Satish Kaushik where she played an IPS officer. Her upcoming film titled Disco Dancer Star director by B Subhash is slated to release soon.
She spelled her Midas touch on a no. of television shows, short films and music videos. Her show Amma on Zee Tv alongside Nawab Shah strengthened her fan base & her short film Motherhood gave her a global fan base. Her Punjabi and Haryanavi music videos made her a digital sensation.
Post a successful career in entertainment, Sonali found herself craving to serve her fans and return the love she received from them, hence she joined politics with an aim to bring a change in society and help the underprivileged.
She is the National Vice President of BJP’s Mahila Morcha & State Vice President Haryana. She is also in charge of the Scheduled Tribe wing of Haryana, New Delhi, and Chandigarh for the party and has worked on the ground level in the tribal areas of Jharkhand and Madhya Pradesh. She is also part of BJP’s national executive committee. Last year she received a ticked from the BJP Adampur constituency in Haryana Assembly Elections. Her name was announced in the second list of 12 BJP candidates for the elections. She was also the Art & Culture Director in the Haryana Government for a year.
Insisting that her choice to enter the Bigg Boss house is not a flash-in-a-pan decision, Sonali says she has always been a fan of the show “I have been a big, big fan of Bigg Boss since forever now. The scale of the show is huge. I know so many people who watch it religiously every day when it airs. How can I refuse this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. I have watched almost all the episodes of this season. Now that I am a participant, feels surreal. I am excited and nervous at the same time, I don’t know how will my journey unfold but I promise the viewers a lot of entertainment and positivity”
