Shershaah Soundtrack Wins Big At Mirchi Music Awards
National: It is indeed an exciting moment for Sony Music Entertainment India as it strikes the right chords at the prestigious Mirchi Music Awards 2022 with 6 titles. Sony Music Entertainment India has dominated different categories with a whopping 31 nominations of which the album Shershaah spelt yet another glorious victory by receiving nominations across 16 categories. In addition to that, projects Mimi got 6 nominations, while Ginni weds Sunny and Love Aaj Kal received 3 nominations each whereas Dil Bechara & 99Songs received 2 and 1 nominations, respectively.
Among the 6 trophies in Sony Music Entertainment India’s kitty, claiming the title across four categories were Shershaah, which was anointed as the Album of the Year, and its song-Raatan Lambiyan won Song of the Year along with bagging Music Composer of the Year and Lyricist of the Year awards. Apart from being crowned as one of the most-watched films and biggest hits of 2021, the film topped both national and international music charts. The album is proud to become the biggest album of the year and the fastest one to reach 1 billion audio streams worldwide. Continuing with its winning streak, the songs of the film became a rage on social media with 12MN + reels being created by audiences. The shares, views and reels that continue to happen even now, talk about its never-ending popularity. In addition to Shershaah, Sony Music Entertainment India’s Param Sundari (Mimi) and Rubaru (Ginny Weds Sunny) won Song Producer-Programmingand Arranging and the Upcoming Lyricist of the Year trophies, respectively, at the award ceremony.
