'Resurgence'

Grounded birds
Needs zeal.
Life appeals,
Not the wings
But the zings.

Dreams on fire,
Wilting desire,
Need no ire
A whole new start,
Is, what is required.

Falling star
A messy scar
Needs compassion
A big passion.

Life Disillusioned
With no conclusion.
Easier is death
Then to thrive.
Lively gaiety
Is what required.

Full of doubt
Frail of faith
Extinguished hope
No solace,
Havoc wreath
Repeated death
Need assurance,
And trust.

Life wants zings
Not the wings.
