Padma Shri award recipient Dr Anuradha Paudwal was conferred Vidushi and Ashthan Gayanee title by Sringeri Math founded by Sri Guru Adi Shankaracharya

Anuradha Paudwal is a voice synonymous with Indian devotional music all over the world. Her journey from movies to exploring spiritual music and bringing it to the common man is commendable. This effort has been aptly lauded by Shringeri Math by conferring the title of Vidushi and Asthan gayanee of the Sringeri Mutt founded by Adi Shankaracharya.

Her intention has been to bring to the forefront, the spiritual literary treasures of our country and make them accessible to the common man through simple but beautiful melodies.

Her pioneer works include Gayatri Mantra, Durga Saptashati and Mata Ki Bhents, Vishwamber Stuti, Vishnu Sahastra Naam, Traditional Artees, Shiv Mahimna Stotra and Taandav Stotra, Bhaktamber Stotra, Bhagavad Geeta, Jain Stutis and Stavans, Ganpati Atharva Sheesh, and Shabad Gurbani, to name a few.

She has been awarded the Padmashri, a doctorate in music by DY Patil University felicitated by the house of commons in England and awarded the Cultural ambassador to Indian devotional by the United Nations in New York.
