While the drug's journey across past gangsters, international borders, couriers, and refiners, they're closely monitored by the determined Federal Agents. Working at this dangerous mission, can the two men find out the underlying facts before it is too late?

Review: Jason Cabell’s Running with the Devil showcases individuals involved in getting cocaine right from the farm to the clubs. The price of the drug is raised by some amount at each exchange point. Each character involved in this game is recognized by his generic name only.

The movie Running with the Devil seems to be searching for a pulse all through its running time. The high ambitions of the drama do not match with the narrative inspiration. The opening scenes of the film hustle awkwardly to manifest the scope of the story.

Coming to the performances of the film’s cast, Nicolas Cage as The Cook delivers his best performance, playing a dual-sided character. He works as a puffy, schlubby pizza chef and a confident drug trafficker at the same time. Laurence Fishburne as The Man gives a performance that seems to be well below his usual standard. The remaining characters of the movie tend to disappear behind their single-word descriptors.

Overall, Jason Cabell’s new movie, Running with the Devil scores for the effort that has been put in and seems to be worth a watch. The fans of this genre can go ahead and book their tickets.
